Amruta Deshpande, is originally from Kohlapur, Maharashtra and has lived in different part of America for past 15 years. She has bachelor's degree in computer science and has left her teaching career to be part of Marathi Tadka team. Amruta is very passionate about cooking and dreams of introducing everyone to the vibrant culture of India through her food. She enjoys making fresh, healthy food. Some of her specialties are Kolhapuri chicken, Tambda and Pandhara rassa, Indo-chinese food and many more marathi delicacies like Misal Pav, Surali wadi, Sabudana vada.
